Ingredients
  • 70.4 g ground turkey
  • 60 g spinach
  • 25 g mandu wrappers
  • 1 tbsp scallion
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
Method
  1. 01In a small bowl, combine the raw ground turkey, finely chopped spinach, minced scallion, and 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce. Mix vigorously until the mixture becomes slightly sticky and cohesive.
  2. 02Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center of each mandu wrapper. Moisten the edges with a touch of water, then fold into a half-moon shape, pleating the edges tightly to seal.
  3. 03Arrange the mandu in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper. Ensure they do not touch.
  4. 04Place the steamer over rapidly boiling water and steam for 8-10 minutes until the wrappers become translucent and the filling reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. 05Mix the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce with the rice vinegar in a small dish.
  6. 06Serve the mandu immediately with the dipping sauce.
  7. 07Cook the turkey until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) in its thickest part before serving.
