Drinks, tees, and the tote
What's actually in the sparkling water?
Real fruit, herbs, botanicals, bubbles. That's the whole list — fruit and herbs infused into carbonated water, then bottled in small batches. No sugar, no syrups, no concentrate.
Five flavours right now. Orange Cucumber Mint, Pineapple Rosemary, Strawberry Thyme, and Orange Strawberry Mint are $24. Citrus Berry Sangria is $26.
Is there sugar in it?
No sugar and no syrups. Whatever sweetness you taste came in with the fruit.
If you need the full ingredient list for an allergy before you buy, email us and say which flavour. We'll send it.
Why are there only five flavours?
Because the batches are small and the fruit is seasonal. Short runs mean the lineup changes rather than grows. Five we can make properly beats twenty we can't.
What are the tees and tanks made of?
Soft combed cotton. Nothing technical, nothing treated. The White Tee is $28, and the White Tank and the Heather Tank are $26 each.
We cut them in short runs, so sizes sell through and come back. If the fit isn't right, returns are free for 30 days.
Can I put the jute bag in the wash?
No — wipe it clean instead. The Grocery Jute ($25) has a laminated liner, so a leaking carton or a split berry comes out with a damp cloth. Jute and washing machines do not get along.
Cotton rope handles, and it folds flat when the groceries are put away.
The garden and the Grow Box
What's in the Garden Starter Bundle, and do I need it?
Seeds plus a tool kit, $62, which saves $8 over buying the pieces separately. The Seed Set on its own is $12: open-pollinated greens, herbs, and microgreens.
You don't need the bundle to use the Grow Box, and you don't need the Grow Box to use the seeds. If you're only testing whether you like growing things, start with the $12 seeds.
When does the Grow Box actually ship?
Early September 2026. It's a preorder at $99 — an eight-pod countertop herb garden in bamboo and glass, with a misted dome.
Each plant scans into The Grove in the Grovli app, so what you grow shows up in what you cook.
Am I charged now or when it ships?
Charged today, at checkout. A preorder is a real order, not a reservation.
What you get in exchange is a free exit. Cancel any time before it ships and the refund is automatic and in full, back the way you paid.
Can I cancel a preorder?
Yes — any time before it ships. Open your confirmation email, use the manage link, and cancel it yourself.
The refund goes out automatically. No email to us, no reason required, no restocking fee.
Is the Grow Box worth buying before anyone has seen one?
Only if you want it anyway. Nothing arrives before early September 2026, so preordering buys you a place in the first run and nothing else.
Changing your mind costs nothing, since cancelling before shipment refunds in full. If you'd rather see one in person first, wait.
If I order a drink and a preorder together, when does it all arrive?
Together, in the preorder's window. One order is one shipment here, so a cart with the Grow Box in it goes out when the Grow Box does.
If you want the sparkling this week, put it through as its own order. Shipping is free either way, so splitting costs you nothing.
Do I need the Grovli app to use the Grow Box?
No. It grows herbs on a counter without any phone involved.
The app adds The Grove: scan each plant, track it, plan the beds, and let the harvest feed into the week's food plan.
Ordering, payment, and the welcome offer
Do I need an account to order?
No account, no password, no login. Checkout is guest checkout.
Everything after the sale runs on email: your confirmation carries the order number and a link that tracks the order and cancels a preorder. Changing an order isn't self-serve — write to us for that.
How does the 10% welcome offer work?
Join CitiGrove and we email you a code for 10% off your first order. Enter it at checkout in the promotion-code field, above the total.
We don't print the code on the site, and it isn't applied automatically — if you don't type it in, you won't get it.
What payment methods do you take?
Apple Pay and the major cards. Checkout runs on Stripe Hosted Checkout, so payment happens on Stripe's page rather than ours.
Do you store my card details?
No — we never see the number. Stripe handles shop checkout, Apple handles subscriptions bought inside the app, and neither passes the card to us.
Can I change or cancel an order after I place it?
If it's a preorder, don't email us — use the manage link in your confirmation and cancel it yourself, any time before it ships.
For anything in stock, email info@citigrove.com immediately with your order number. Handling is nought to one business day, so the window is narrow and we can't promise we'll catch it. If it's already moving, send it back instead: returns are free for 30 days.
I put in the wrong shipping address. What now?
Email us right away with the order number and the correct address. Before the parcel leaves, we can usually change it.
After it ships, the carrier holds the cards. The tracking link in your shipping email is the fastest place to request a redirect, and we'll help from our side if that fails.
It's sold out. Will you make more?
Usually yes, but not on a schedule. Small batches sell through, and seasonal ingredients decide when a flavour comes back.
Sold-out products show a waitlist field where the buy button would be. Leave your email there and you'll hear before the restock is public.
Shipping and tracking
How much is shipping?
Free, on every US order. No threshold, no minimum cart, no calculated rate at checkout.
How long will it take to get here?
About a week for most orders. Handling is nought to one business day, transit is three to five business days.
Preorders ship in their published window instead, which for the Grow Box is early September 2026.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet — US addresses only for now.
If you're elsewhere and want to know when that changes, email us and say where you are. It helps us decide where to go first.
Where's my order?
Start with your email. The confirmation has your order number and the manage link, and tracking follows once the parcel is on its way.
If tracking hasn't moved in a day or two, the carrier can see more than we can, and going to them directly is faster. Still stuck after that — send us the order number and we'll chase it.
I never got a confirmation email.
Check spam first, then tell us. Guest checkout means your email address is the only thread between you and the order, so one typo breaks it.
Write to info@citigrove.com with the name on the order, roughly when you placed it, and any other address you might have mistyped. Don't send card details — we don't need them to find it.
Returns, and when something goes wrong
What's your return policy?
30 days, free, by mail — anything bought in the shop.
Email info@citigrove.com with your order number and what you're sending back, and we'll send a label.
My order arrived damaged.
Send a photo and we'll fix it. Email the order number, a picture of the item, and a picture of the box it came in.
We'll replace it if it's still in stock, and refund it if it isn't.
Can I return a drink if I don't like the flavour?
Yes, within 30 days, same as anything else.
Tell us which one and what put you off when you write in. With five flavours, that changes what we make next.
Do I have to pay return shipping?
No. Returns are free by mail for 30 days.
Preorders are simpler still: cancel before it ships and the refund is automatic, with nothing to pack up.
Grovli, the app
What does Grovli actually do?
Builds a food plan for you in under thirty seconds. You give it your macro targets, how you eat, and what you can't eat. It returns meals across 40+ cuisines that fit, writes the grocery list, and hands it to Instacart in one tap.
Also in there: pantry cooking, photo and barcode logging, an AI nutrition advisor, restaurant discovery, accountability Groups, and The Grove for the garden. Free to download on iPhone.
How accurate are the macros, really?
Within 10% of your targets, on all four macros. The numbers come from USDA FoodData Central rather than an estimate the app made up.
A meal that misses that tolerance doesn't reach your plan — the server enforces it before anything is shown to you.
Does it handle allergies and the way I eat?
Yes. 12+ ways of eating, plus allergy filters on top.
Dietary type and allergies are hard filters: a meal that violates one never appears, however well it fits your macros. Cuisine preferences work the other way — 40+ to pull from, weighted toward what you actually like.
What is The Grove, and does it cost extra?
Garden planning inside the app, and it's there from the free tier. Scan a plant to identify and track it, plan your beds, and when something is ready the harvest feeds into that week's meals.
One piece is gated: partner-camera capture, where someone else photographs your plants into your Grove, is Premium and up. Everything else works on any plan, with whatever you grow.
Is there an Android version, or can I use it on a computer?
No Android app yet. Grovli is a free iPhone download, and grovli.citigrove.com covers your account, your subscription, and the Pro tier that iOS doesn't sell.
Which health devices connect?
Garmin, WHOOP, Withings, and Apple Health.
Apple Health is read-only: Grovli reads steps, active calories, exercise time, and resting heart rate, and writes nothing back. The others connect through their own sign-in and can be disconnected whenever you want.
Plans, billing, and cancelling
Does the free tier actually work, or is it a demo?
It works, with real limits. Free plans a day at a time, saves up to 50 meals, and gives you 20 advisor messages a day — enough to plan tomorrow's food properly and decide whether you want more.
The grocery list, pantry cooking, macro targets, and photo logging start at Standard.
What do the paid plans cost, and what's the difference?
Standard is $14.99, Premium $24.99, and Family $34.99 a month. Standard opens three-day plans, unlimited saved meals and chat, pantry, grocery, macros, photo logging, restaurants, and Smart Mode. Premium goes to seven-day plans and adds the partner-camera Grove and a priority queue. Family is seven-day plans for five people.
Pro starts at $50 a month and is sold on desktop only, through the website. It isn't available on iPhone.
Why does my plan look different from my friend's?
Because it's built from your numbers, not a shared menu. Your macro targets, dietary type, allergies, cuisine preferences, and what's in your pantry all move the result.
Tier changes the shape too: free plans run a day at a time, Standard three days, Premium and Family seven.
How do I cancel my subscription?
It depends who bills you. If you subscribed on iPhone, Apple bills it — cancel in iOS Settings, then Apple Account, then Subscriptions.
If you subscribed on desktop, Stripe bills it and you cancel from your account page on the web. CitiGrove cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription for you. We don't have that button.
I was charged and I want a refund.
If Apple charged you, only Apple can refund it — go to reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't reverse an App Store charge, however reasonable the request.
If you subscribed on desktop, that's Stripe and we can help. Email info@citigrove.com from the address on the account.
Privacy and your data
Why do I have to accept an AI notice before I can use the app?
Apple requires it, under App Store guideline 5.1.1(i). Plan generation, the advisor chat, and photo logging all run on AI.
The app asks you to accept that once, on first launch, before anything else happens.
What happens to the health data I connect?
It feeds your plan and your logs. Every device integration is one you connect yourself, and you can disconnect any of them at any time. Apple Health is read-only, so Grovli reads from it and never writes back.
The privacy policy has the specifics on how it's stored and deleted.
About CitiGrove
What is CitiGrove, exactly?
A wellness brand with four shelves: sparkling water, the garden, wear and carry, and Grovli, the food-planning app.
The app is the centre of it. The rest is what we'd want on the counter and in the bag around it.
When is the skincare coming?
No date yet, and nothing to buy. Skincare is the next shelf and it isn't stocked, so it can't be ordered or preordered on citigrove.com.
When it exists it will appear in the shop, and we'll write about how it was made in the Journal first.
How do I reach an actual person?
Email info@citigrove.com. It's a real inbox and we read it.
There's also a chat on the site that answers from the same facts as this page and hands you to us when it can't. For anything about an order, include the order number and it goes faster.
Ask us instead.
