Ingredients
- 220 g Ground Turkey, raw
- 250 g Broccoli, raw florets
- 225 g Rice, white, cooked
- 1 tbsp (21 g) Honey (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium)
- 0.5 tsp (2.5 g) Sesame Oil
Method
- 01Prepare the glaze by whisking together the soy sauce, honey, freshly grated ginger, and a splash of rice vinegar in a small bowl.
- 02Heat a large non-stick wok or skillet over high heat until wisps of smoke appear. Add a touch of oil and cook the ground turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned and crispy at the edges. Remove the turkey from the pan.
- 03In the same pan, add the broccoli florets with a tablespoon of water and cover for 2 minutes to steam until bright green and tender-crisp.
- 04Add the turkey back to the pan, pour the sauce over everything, and toss vigorously over high heat. The sauce will bubble and thicken into a glossy, sticky glaze that coats the turkey and broccoli evenly.
- 05Finish with a drizzle of toasted sesame oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately over a warm bed of white rice.
