Ingredients
- 50 g edamame beans
- 35 g long-grain white rice
- 25 g green bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 0.5 tsp olive oil
- 1.5 tsp agave nectar
- 1 pinch dried chile de arbol
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp lime juice
Method
- 01Heat olive oil in a small heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 02Add minced garlic and finely diced green bell pepper, sautéing for 2 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- 03Toss in the edamame and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the edges begin to char slightly.
- 04Lower the heat and fold in the cooked long-grain white rice, combining thoroughly.
- 05Drizzle agave nectar over the mixture and toss to glaze.
- 06Season with salt and crushed chile de árbol flakes.
- 07Transfer to a bowl and squeeze fresh lime juice over top before serving.
