Ingredients
  • 37.0 g Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, meat and skin, raw
  • 13.9 g Wonton wrappers
  • 37.1 g Sliced water chestnuts in water
  • 139.0 g Bok choy, regular, raw
  • 4.6 g Ginger, fresh, minced
  • 9.3 g Scallion, minced
  • 15.8 ml Soy sauce, light
Method
  1. 01Finely mince the chicken breast, water chestnuts, ginger, and half of the scallions. Mix together in a small bowl with a splash of soy sauce to bind.
  2. 02Place a small teaspoon of the chicken mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold into a pouch, and pinch the top to seal tightly.
  3. 03Arrange the bok choy in a bamboo steamer basket. Place the wontons on top of the leaves.
  4. 04Set the steamer over a wok of boiling water. Steam for 6-8 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the wrappers are translucent and tender.
  5. 05Carefully transfer the bok choy to a shallow bowl, top with the wontons, and drizzle with the remaining soy sauce. Garnish with the rest of the fresh scallions.
