Ingredients
- 80g Pork shoulder, lean only, raw
- 20g Jasmine Rice with Red & Wild Rice blend
- 50g Broccoli, raw, finely chopped
- 30g Scallions, raw, thinly sliced
- 5g Za'atar seasoning
- 2g Biber spice (Aleppo pepper flakes)
Method
- 01Steam the jasmine and red rice blend until tender and fragrant, roughly 18 minutes.
- 02Slice the pork shoulder into small, thin strips. Season generously with the Biber spice.
- 03Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork strips until deeply browned and slightly crispy at the edges, about 5-6 minutes.
- 04Add the finely chopped broccoli to the skillet, tossing quickly for 2 minutes so it retains a vibrant green crunch.
- 05Remove from heat. Fold in the cooked rice and fresh scallions, letting the residual heat lightly wilt the scallions.
- 06Plate the mixture in a shallow bowl and dust heavily with the za'atar seasoning to create an aromatic crust. Serve immediately while the pork is hot and the scallions remain snappy.
