Ingredients
- 200 g sweet potato
- 130.8 g ground beef
- 150 g spinach
- 10 g garlic
- 1.8 g extra-virgin olive oil
- 5 g Cajun seasoning
- 1 pinch salt
Method
- 01Heat a heavy-bottomed cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with the olive oil.
- 02Add the small-diced sweet potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until the edges are golden brown and the centers are tender, about 8–10 minutes.
- 03Add the grass-fed ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Sprinkle generously with the Cajun seasoning.
- 04Sauté until the ground beef is browned, crispy, and reaches a safe internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) with no remaining pink meat, about 6 minutes.
- 05Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until lightly browned, crisp, and fragrant.
- 06Toss in the fresh spinach and fold it into the warm beef and sweet potato hash until just wilted and glossy.
- 07Taste and adjust with a pinch of salt if desired, then plate immediately while steaming hot.
