Ingredients
- 29.4 g SESAME GINGER SALMON WILD CAUGHT ALASKAN PINK SALMON FILLETS
- 166.1 g Broccoli, raw, finely chopped
- 2.2 g Garlic, raw, minced
- 2.2 g Ginger, raw, grated
Method
- 01Bring a bamboo steamer or a pot with a fitted steaming rack to a boil over high heat.
- 02Finely chop the broccoli into small, rice-like florets and toss them in a bowl with the minced garlic and grated ginger. Transfer the vegetable mixture to a heat-proof plate or shallow bowl that fits inside your steamer.
- 03Place the portion of sesame ginger salmon atop the seasoned broccoli bed.
- 04Cover and steam for 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the broccoli is vibrant green and tender-crisp.
- 05The aromatics will permeate the salmon and the bed of broccoli. Carefully remove from the steam, let rest for 1 minute, and serve immediately in the warm bowl. The residual juices from the fish will act as a light, savory dressing for the broccoli.
