Ingredients
  • 35 g glutinous rice flour
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 14.9 g pork sausage
  • 41.8 g sweet potato
  • 228.3 g fresh spinach
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 5 g almonds
Method
  1. 01Mix glutinous rice flour with water to form a smooth dough, shape into small round flat cakes, and steam for 8-10 minutes until chewy and translucent.
  2. 02Steam the sweet potato until soft, then mash with a pinch of salt until smooth.
  3. 03Steam the spinach for 1 minute until wilted, squeeze out excess moisture, and set aside.
  4. 04Steam the cha lua slices for 2 minutes until heated through and warm.
  5. 05Spread a thin layer of mashed sweet potato over the steamed glutinous rice cake.
  6. 06Layer warm cha lua and wilted spinach on top of the rice cake.
  7. 07Garnish with crushed almonds and serve warm.
  8. 08Cook the pork until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) in its thickest part before serving.
