Ingredients
- 65 g canned white beans
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pinch salt
- 40 g feta cheese
- 1 tsp Aleppo pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 15 g whole-wheat pita bread
Method
- 01Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and softened but not browned.
- 02Add the drained white beans and a pinch of salt to the skillet, stirring gently for 2 to 3 minutes until warm. Add a splash of water if the beans seem dry.
- 03Transfer the warm beans to a small bowl and immediately fold in the crumbled feta cheese so it softens slightly.
- 04Drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle generously with Aleppo pepper.
- 05Serve immediately alongside toasted whole-wheat pita triangles for scooping.
