Ingredients
  • 65 g canned white beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 40 g feta cheese
  • 1 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 15 g whole-wheat pita bread
Method
  1. 01Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and softened but not browned.
  2. 02Add the drained white beans and a pinch of salt to the skillet, stirring gently for 2 to 3 minutes until warm. Add a splash of water if the beans seem dry.
  3. 03Transfer the warm beans to a small bowl and immediately fold in the crumbled feta cheese so it softens slightly.
  4. 04Drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle generously with Aleppo pepper.
  5. 05Serve immediately alongside toasted whole-wheat pita triangles for scooping.
